Black Friday 2015: The French are not yet convinced


While « Black Friday » is prosperous in Spain and the UK, according to the poll by Toluna/LSA of 9 November 2015, French consumers are not yet convinced by this sales operation. To 25% of the French, « Black Friday » doesn’t ring any bell.
However, as explained by Philippe Guilbert, CEO of Toluna, "this year, Black Friday is expected to attract more people since 43% of the French are potentially interested ; there could be a new participation record after the 15 million shoppers in 2014 (according to the Toluna/LSA survey conducted just after the commercial operation of 2014). But to get there, retailers will undoubtedly offer significant discounts to avoid disappointing consumers. "
