Carrefour Bio : the concept is growing in 2016

The leader of distribution in France boost its network of stores Carrefour Bio, whose the first have opened about 3 years ago. After opening five stores in 3 years, the distributor will deploy in 2016 a lease management model. Carrefour Bio stores will be now points of sales from 200 to 300 square metres, which offering some 3 700 products references, whose 1 300 to 1 500 on private brands.
A sixth Carrefour Bio stores will opened on April 2016 at Paris and its should go up at ten by the end of 2016 in the capital.
Meanwhile, Carrefour will also put the accelerator on its organic products globally speaking.
« With more than 125 million of products sold in 2015, Carrefour Bio is today the first organic brand in France ! » said Richard Vavasseur, director of premium brands Carrefour. 
A TV advertising campaign called « J’optimisme », started in March this year, will specially support Carrefour Bio brand.
