Snacking Market on the Rise


Nothing seems to stop the growth of the snack market. French people's habits are changing, and time restraints cause people to look for something to eat « on-the-go ». Another reason is that snacking products are more accessible to lower-income groups. With an overall turnover of 740 million euros, the snack market is exploding. Of the 740 million, 332 are obtained by selling sandwiches. The most sold product in the snacking market. In second place are the salads, making 236 million euros in turnover.
