No Luck for Meat Sales this Season


Meat sales are largely influenced by the weather. With a rate of rain extremely elevated in June 2016, meat sales went down 4.8%. Consumers aren't just looking for nice weather to buy meat, they look for the conveniency of sausages, and marinated meats, as well as the good times spent barbecuing.

Despite the drop in sales, the meat market continues to upgrade their offer. By proposing platters with different types of meat, stuffed sausages, or flavored skewers, brands are looking to seduce and attract new consumers.
