Solo consumption in Restaurants

Since 6 years, French restaurants are facing with a 3% decreasing of the attendance excepting for the solo consumers (+9%). Pick hours of the solo consumption, the morning (50%) and the lunch (30%)! Solo consumer is young  (40% between 18 and 49 years old) and nomad (70% of take away meals). So, as those consumers are representing 30% of the market (equivalent to the EU average level), the traditional « seated » restaurants are trying to attract them with quick served menus (15-30 min) but this needs to deeply re-invent their model.
