Eating Habits That Need to Change

New studies that analyzed 5800 french people's eating habits have shown that they consume on average 2.9 kilos of food a day, 50% being drinks. Eating habits differ based on gender. Women tend to eat yogurt, soup, and poultry, while men prefer to indulge in red meat, potatoes and desserts.

The consumption of transformed and industrial products is too high. These contain too much salt, and not enough fibers. French people also eat a lot of raw meat, don't always look at expiration dates on products, and don't exercise enough. Physical activities are insufficient for children and adults, with more time spent in front of the TV, (20 minutes for children and 1h20 for adults).
