Behind Lidl's effervescent pace, the independents are maintaining their good rhythm. Intermarché reached the symbolic level of 15% market share thanks to a +0.3 point gain compared to the previous year. "The brand is enjoying an increasing level of loyalty," says Kantar.

Leclerc posted the same gain of +0.3 points "with a greater number of buyers during the period on its physical stores and build customer loyalty on the drive," the panelist said. For its part, Système U increased by +0.1 point "with nearly 200,000 additional households in its customer base at the beginning of the summer". It should be noted that during this period, household spending in France increased by +1.3%.
